COSMOS Marine Fire Dampers are life-safety dampers designed for ships and boats to prevent the spread of fire and smoke through HVAC ventilation ductwork. Installed within the duct line, the damper closes automatically when heat is detected, isolating the duct section and limiting the passage of flames and smoke. When in the open position, the design is intended to keep pressure loss and airflow disturbance low, and an external open/closed indication provides clear status visibility. Custom/non-standard sizes can also be supplied on request.

● Marine life-safety application: Helps stop fire/smoke transmission through ventilation systems on ships and boats.
● Fail-safe closing: Normally open; closes to the safe position on heat event (fusible link release) / power interruption (spring return actuator).
● Dual operating options:
● Electrical with spring-return actuator and manual override; available in 24V or 230V.
● Fusible link operation with rated options 74°C, 100°C, 141°C; manual reset after replacement.
● Thermoelectric tripping (BAT): Complies with ISO 10294-4; interrupts supply permanently and irreversibly when thermal fuse responds.
