Sand Trap Louvers are specially designed to prevent ingress of sand particles in ventilation or air conditioning systems, where excessive intake air filtration is required for HVAC System. It is specially constructed for use in sandy atmosphere areas to extract clean air by draining out the sand particles.

Sand Trap Louvers are specially designed to prevent ingress of sand particles in ventilation or air conditioning systems, where excessive intake air filtration is required for HVAC System. It is specially constructed for use in sandy atmosphere areas to extract clean air by draining out the sand particles. Sand trap louvers shall have a double deflection inlet passage to separate sandrom incoming air by means of centrifugal forces.

COSMOS Sand Trap Louvers are designed and manufactured for Exposed and Flush mounting options. COSMOS Sand Trap Louver are fabricated fastened to ensure the highest product quality and durability as it is constructed from high grade aluminium extrusions. Two rows of vertically arranged ‘U’ Shaped channel sections to form a labyrinth for the air path. Bottom frame will be having self-emptying Sand Drain Holes, ensuring sand rejection for self cleaning and maintenance free. COSMOS sand trap louver is used at the fresh air inlet duct. It can lower the dust loading of conventional filtration as it is designed to separate large size sand particles at low to medium speeds.
