Specially designed rectangular inlet disharge CAV units for exposed ducting to suit various ducting configuration. All COSMOS CAV’s modules facilitate seamless installation and ensure rated performance.

Operating Principle

The CAV Terminal is most common air terminal unit offered by “Cosmos”. It operates on the principle that as to maintain Constant Air Flow at particular Zone.

CAV, short for Constant Air Volume, is a HVAC which supplies air at constant airflows at a constant temperature; unlike variable air volumes, which supply a variable airflow at a variable temperature. Airflow is regulating by the rotating damper blade, depending on pressure changes into the ductwork.

Applications

●  COSMOS make Constant Air Volume Terminal (CAV) is pressure independent air volume control terminal with inbuilt pressure sensor flow grid.
●  COSMOS CAV Terminal, features a primary inlet with an integral damper and design to meet the needs of today’s CAV systems.
●  Unit is design particularly for system with larger air volume and duct sizes and for accurate measurement and control of air volume.
●  The unit controls the air volume to the zone.
