COSMOS offers a wide range of louvers available in custom and standard configurations to meet the most stringent requirements for performance and aesthetic appeal. Choose from extruded aluminum or formed steel louvers, each with a variety of designs and accessories to fit almost every application. All louvers are BSRIA tested for Air Performance, Water Penetration and Wind Driven Rain and may be applied in intake or exhaust applications where provisions to manage water are limited. Wind Driven Rain louvers offer far superior protection against driving rain when compared to conventional louvers. Horizontal blade wind driven rain louvers perform extremely well, but vertical blade products offer the best performance considering both weather resistance and airflow performance. These louvers are commonly applied on Data Center projects.

Drainable louvers are characterized by gutters incorporated at the front edge of each blade to prevent water droplets from cascading from blade-to- blade and becoming entrained in the intake air flow. Vertical gutters located in the jamb frames carry the water to the sill frame where it exits from the louver assembly between the sill frame and bottom blade. Drainable louvers generally outperform conventional architectural blade louvers and provide enhanced resistance to water penetration.

COSMOS make WRL drainable blade louver is available with channel type frame to suit most architectural and mechanical installation requirements.
