These type of swirl diffusers are suitable for cooling due to construction with adjustable geometry.
Cosmos HCSD-R variable swirl diffusers adopts hydrokinetics principle for the design of its blade by which the blade pushes the current by means of swirl with a certain initial velocity to achieve a larger throw distance, bigger space covered by a jet, and more efficient convection current effect.
Installing a HCSD-R diffuser in plenum box can help to achieve a stable flow of air to the diffuser as well as realize the potential for individual adjustment.
On the construction with fixed air control blades, the air is discharge in a horizontal direction only.
